AMO 54 by Hakuba Hotel Group

We stayed six nights in March 2020. The villa near the Sakka Slopes in Happo One was beautiful and well kept.

We had a wonderful family ski holiday this season, with great powder in Hakuba, and stayed at AMO 54. It’s a first-class luxury chalet right on the Happo One slopes, in a quiet but very convenient spot in Wadano woods. You pay for what you get.

This luxury 350sqm chalet in Wadano, Hakuba, Nagano, Japan is 150m from the Sakka Quad ski lift. It has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, and sleeps 10-12. Four en-suite bedrooms sleep 10: the master has a private terrace, there are two double/twin rooms, and the double bunk room sleeps four, with each person getting some privacy and their own reading light. A sofa bed in the office/study can accommodate another two. The large living room has enormous picture windows with stunning mountain views across the Sakka ski slopes, a state-of-the-art gas fireplace, bongo/conga drums, a competition-grade foosball table, and a wireless Bluetooth/Apple AirPlay speaker system. There’s a covered terrace with a BBQ, table, and chairs, plus a dining area that seats 10 comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, large refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, and breakfast island. For games and media, there’s a 65-inch LCD TV with Netflix and Apple TV, another wireless Bluetooth/Apple AirPlay speaker system, ping-pong table, Everlast MMA punch bag, board games, and books. The chalet also has a large dry room and ski/board storage, a laundry room with complimentary washer/dryer, secure garage, full broadband WiFi throughout, under-floor heating and air-conditioning throughout, a wooded garden, a Ten keypad lock with no keys needed, and SEICOM Security. Complimentary services include pickup and drop-off at Hakuba Train Station or Happo Bus Terminal on arrival and departure; concierge help with restaurant bookings, in-chalet chef services, rentals, lessons, tours, vehicle rental, and local information; general daily tidy, rubbish removal every second day, fresh linen every seven days and at changeovers; and a timed supermarket shuttle once daily.
