Avanti Chalet 白馬

The chalet itself felt like a piece of art and like a home for our family in winter. Mr. Tadashi had put so much effort into the design, furniture, and equipment. Heating runs through the walls and under the floor, so nowhere inside felt cold. Outside, there was a homemade snow slope about 20 meters long, leading to the entrance. After my wife's sled attempt fell short, Mr. Tadashi spent an hour adjusting the slope angle, and she got farther the next time. Our family of eight spent four days in Hakuba in February 2018, and Mr. Tadshi at Avanti Chalet gave us the best hospitality. Bad road conditions made us two hours late on the first day, but he and his wife waited at their home next door, even though he was late for work. The next morning, while we skied, he spent hours taking my father around town so he could choose restaurants for dinner. He also found us a car repair shop after our car was damaged on the way to Hakuba. I'm grateful to our host for making the family trip so wonderful.
