B&B Koyuki

We've stayed at Koyuki and Markus' B&B several times in both summer and winter, and coming back feels like visiting old friends. The property is lovely, with Western and Japanese-style rooms and wonderful views. Breakfast is delicious, too. What keeps bringing us back is the warm, friendly hospitality. They're genuine, hardworking people who do their best to look after guests. We look forward to staying again.

We regretted booking this place for seven nights. We didn't enjoy the stay and felt like we had to walk on a tightrope. While we were out, someone came into our room multiple times every day to check that we'd turned everything off. We were expected to keep our voices down, and the common area was unused. The property was silent most of the time. I have basic accommodation requirements, and this place didn't meet them. We had no freedom to use the shower and there were no drying facilities. The owner was rude and accused us when we didn't follow the rules.

Kyoko and Markus were super friendly and really knew the local area. The room was great, and breakfast was delicious every day. It's close to Echoland and all the shuttles. Fantastic place to stay, and I couldn't recommend it more. Thanks for a great holiday!

We've come up from Osaka every few years in summer to get away from the extreme heat and enjoy the Japanese Alps. This was our fourth stay at B&B Koyuki. It's very clean, the included breakfast is good, and there's a relaxing common area with table tennis in the basement. The hosts are friendly and know the area well. I really recommend staying here in Hakuba.
