Inner Village Miyama

The students were delighted with the delicious meals during our practical training stay, and the inn felt warm and welcoming throughout. Mr. Tadakatsu is a remarkable person. He devoted himself to the Nagano Olympics, worked at the forefront of sports management, and gave lectures to my students that I still remember clearly. He was also an exceptionally skilled skier, and I recall him being a demonstrator. It’s a place where you can learn a lot. I’d love to come back with my grandchildren.

The people at the inn were so kind, and we had a really good time thanks to them. On our two-day, one-night stay, both dinner and breakfast were delicious and came with plenty of variety. They noticed when we’d finished and cleared our plates, and we enjoyed chatting with them too. Thank you so much!

The building may be old, but it’s kept clean and in good shape. The landlady was kind, and the hot spring was lovely, with a temperature that felt just right, neither too warm nor too hot. I’ll definitely come back.

The food was the highlight of our summer bus tour stay. The owner’s own vegetables and homemade stewed cucumbers with local miso were delicious, and my two middle-school-aged kids ate four bowls of rice each and said they loved it. The rooms were affordable, the large public bath was a circulating hot spring, and yukata towels were provided. The shampoo and body wash were decent too.
