Mats looked after us incredibly well, driving us wherever we needed to go, including grocery shopping and the ski slopes. His local tips on places to eat and ski were great. We’ve never felt so cared for on a holiday and will definitely return for longer next time. Beaver Lodge is in a beautiful spot in the Hakuba valley, a short drive from the Imori slope on Goryu mountain, where we had skiing lessons. The apartment worked perfectly for our family of four. It has two comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. We had everything needed to cook full dinners, then relax with a homemade meal and Netflix in the evening. There’s also a washing machine, dishwasher, and a drying room for ski gear. Our two boys made good use of the deep snow out front and the toboggans provided.
