Bergtour Marukita

We had a great experience and would definitely return. The hotel was very clean, the service was astounding, and breakfast was a really good Japanese spread. After a long day snowboarding, the onsen was amazing. There are lots of good places to eat within walking distance. When it was snowing, the hotel gave us a ride to JR Hakuba so we didn’t have to drag our luggage through the snow.

Everyone on staff was so kind, friendly, and helpful, they made us feel at home. The service was exceptional. We stayed in a spacious, clean, comfortable Japanese-style room, and it was lovely to try one. The futon mattresses were great too. The hotel is on a quiet road, just a three-minute walk from the bus station. The onsen was amazing and well maintained. Laundry was easy with the affordable coin-operated machines, and they even supplied detergent. In the lobby, there was free hot and cold water, various teas and coffees, and snacks, very generous. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of options and a different selection each day. We won’t forget our stay in Hakuba and would definitely come again. Highly recommend!

After a day on the slopes, we loved unwinding in the onsen and sauna. Breakfast was delicious, with both Japanese and Western food, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. It’s a great spot for skiing, near the bus terminal and nakayama slope. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

The staff were amazingly hospitable, and we loved the hotel’s village location. There are shuttles to and from the Ski course, though we usually walked back from the Gondola in about 10 minutes. Breakfast was great, and the Japanese-style room was awesome. Our ski instructor even told us this was the village’s best Japanese-style hotel. The spa was amazing after skiing, with indoor and outdoor spa areas, a dry sauna, and baths. Loved every bit of it, highly recommend.
