The two-bed cabins have small loft spaces upstairs, which should be fine for kids or anyone without mobility problems. There’s also a pickup and drop-off service to the bus terminal. The place was clean and tidy, affordable, and well located for walking to the Happo One lifts and nearby equipment hire shops. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Having a whole cabin to ourselves was really nice. The reception staff were great, and there was a washer plus a private drying room. Awesome stay!

The staff were great, really friendly, and the rides to the train station and supermarket were very helpful. Everything else was great too, but I wouldn’t recommend staying in cabin number 7 until the mould problem is fixed. We were a group of four, and two of us ended up with chest infections after the stay. There was black mould on the walls, blinds, and some of the spare pillows.

Anna was a huge help with arranging shuttles, restaurant bookings, and the bus to our next destination. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms and changed our towels when we asked. The apartment was a good size, with comfortable beds and a reasonably equipped kitchen: a three-burner stovetop, a small grill, a microwave, and a full-size fridge. We also had a good-size washer and dryer. The location worked well, about a ten-minute walk to Happo One resort or five minutes to the shuttle stop, with a few restaurants nearby.

A good spot for a group of friends, with nice apartments. It’s about a five-minute walk to the lifts at happo one resort, and the free bus stops are only two minutes from the lodge. Great place to sleep in hakuba.
