You have to contact them by email, since this place isn’t on the usual booking platforms, and it can be hard to find. The hosts are Mr.Shaun and his Japanese wife, whose name I forgot to ask. They speak English perfectly and help with your various needs. It’s a traditional Japanese style lodge with futons, a fan, fireplace and onsen, plus the generosity of Japanese tradition. They also offer Gondola tickets and nearby public onsen tickets at a good price. Thanks to them for their help on our trip in early Jan 2026. We hope to visit again in Spring!

We had a brilliant two day winter stay at this original Japanese ski lodge, just a two minute walk from Iwatake skifield. The hosts were wonderful, and the hospitality and atmosphere were great. Don’t miss it.
