Meteor made planning much easier. After I booked through Agoda, they sent useful details about food and ski rental, reminded me to reserve dinner since Hakuba restaurants apparently fill up, and suggested arranging shuttles or taxis ahead of time. I really appreciated the help. The staff were friendly, and I liked having printed information at reception about shuttle pickup times, taxi calls and discounted lift passes. The location worked well too, about a 10-minute walk from Main Street food and around 20 minutes from the nearest convenience store. It's one of the coziest places I've stayed. I'm a sucker for fleece bedding, and they had it. There's also a shared kitchen where guests can store, heat and eat food. I'd love to stay again next time I'm in Hakuba.

We were sad to leave after our family stay at Meteor. Chika, Coco, Clara and the rest of the staff made us feel so welcome, and we loved the place's eco-friendly, sharing ethos. The food was great too, from Onagiri at breakfast to awesome Udon at night and homemade raw cakes. Matane!

After skiing, this was such a lovely place to have a wholesome dinner. We had the best udon of our whole trip, and the friendly staff made it easy to leave happy. The vibe at meteor is wonderful.
