The host was so kind and helped us with everything during our stay. We really felt looked after, and I'd happily stay here again. Coming to Hakuba in the cold winter for skiing and being welcomed so warmly made the trip special. The location is convenient for Hakuba Station, Hakuba Bus Terminal, and Hakuba Happo-One ski resort. Emu, a great restaurant, is just a short walk away. The photos of the room online didn't impress me much at first, but it was much prettier in person. The host had decorated it in a really cute, warm style, and it was spotlessly clean. I'm very grateful for the experience.

The room was clean and spacious, and the view from it was beautiful. The equipment looked quite old, but everything was there. The shared bathroom had all the amenities. Absolutely loved this place!

We spent two months here snowboarding, and the room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. Check-in was very friendly, and the large shared kitchen had plenty of space, with a freezer, fridge, microwaves, and a gas stove. It was great value for money. Saiko, the owner, is the friendliest and most helpful host I've met in years of travelling. She helped us with so many things, gave us information about Hakuba and the surrounding area, and speaks English exceptionally well. The inn is right next to the bus and train station, making arrival quick and convenient, and the shuttle bus to the ski resorts is easy to reach.

The owner waited up for our 9 pm arrival, showed us around the whole hotel, and took time to explain taxi and snow shuttle services, places to eat, and things to see. She speaks exceptional English and really made us feel welcome. Breakfast, tea, coffee, and a fully equipped kitchen were provided, along with a comfortable, homey dining space. The two single beds were great, with thick blankets and a very comfortable night's sleep. Hakuba Station is a five-minute walk away. Good bars and clubs are about a 20-25 minute walk.

A comfortable apartment with convenient facilities and an extremely supportive Japanese host who speaks English. I highly recommend it as a base for exploring Hakuba and Nagano.
