We took a family ski trip to Hakuba and stayed at Lodge Tsurara. It was a wonderful place with a homey feel.

There are no meals included, but the lodging has a dining area. It seems like a place often used for training camps. The Japanese-style room only had a TV. The hot spring bath was excellent. There were small coin lockers, probably for training camp use, and separate bins in the hallway for cans, bottles, and burnable trash.

The food was delicious, and the setting was ideal for skiing and snowboarding. They also provide rides to Iwatake.
