We had a group of seven, and the owners did everything they could to make us comfortable. It’s very close to the ski hill and some restaurants and bars. The food was delicious and really affordable. We’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

The family lodge atmosphere was a real plus, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a lovely, basic option in Hakuba, with a bus running right outside to get to and from the mountain. The owners speak a little English, but they’re patient and very helpful.

I’m from the U.S. and had a wonderful stay. The owners are caring and lovely to talk with, even with a bit of a language barrier. They patiently work through our charades. The beds were cozy, the room was warm, and the chef made great meals after a long day skiing.

The owners make delicious food, and the blankets are incredibly soft. This was my first trip to Hakuba, and I’m really glad I chose this place. I’d highly recommend it if you’re trying to decide among the pensions.
