Snow Peak land is a popular stop for visitors to Hakuba, Japan, with beautiful architecture in a strategic location facing the Hakuba Resort mountains. You can get there on the reserved Alpico Bus from Nagano, but booking requires an online application that takes quite a while to complete. The bus departs from behind JR Nagano Station at the East Gate. Snow Peak land is one of the stops, very close to the building used by Starbucks Coffee, so be careful not to miss it. Items sold here are quite expensive, though that seems reasonable for a well-known tourist area.

A clean, warm, welcoming place to wait for the bus and have a coffee. Just remember the Highway Bus doesn’t pull in here; its stop is on the road itself.

I only stopped by because I was nearby and wanted to visit the Snow Peak store, but there’s lots of exclusive merch, and the Snow Peak titanium is fantastic. I bet the mountain view is beautiful during the day, and it’d be nice to stay here. Look for MADE IN JAPAN!!
