Right by the central station, with lots of restaurants and pubs on a lively night street, so the location's really convenient. This guesthouse combines a Japanese-style bathroom with smart design. It's spacious, tidy, spotless, and busy all day and night. A good pick for solo travelers on a tight budget.

I won't stay here again. It wasn't worth the money, and I was very disappointed. An intoxicated guest was throwing up near the rooms, which was appalling. The staff only dealt with it after someone brought it to their attention. Otherwise, the vomit might have stayed there for days before they noticed. I'm sharing an honest review in case it helps other travelers considering a stay.

I spent just one night here, and for $23 it was a very clean capsule hotel, especially compared with what I've read about capsule hotels in bigger cities. Hamamatsu seems like a lovely little town that doesn't get many tourists, which may help. There are private showers as well as a public bathhouse, so you can choose. Some local people come in just to use the bathhouse and sauna. My capsule had a USB port and a wall outlet, handy for charging my phone and portable charger at the same time. People were quiet and considerate in the sleeping area. If you're a light sleeper, there was an earplug and face mask set for, I think, 500 yen. I'd stay again if I were traveling alone through Hamamatsu.

Right in the city center and next to the train station, there's a wellness center, comfortable bedrooms, and a shopping mall with plenty of nice restaurants. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

Best hotel I've stayed at in Japan so far. It's got a spa, relaxation rooms, comfy capsules, and a common area. Superb, recommend it to everyone!
