The room was clean and came with its own bathroom. Lots of places to eat are within about a five-minute walk.

When it started raining as we checked out, the owner was busy but still drove us to Hashimoto station. We really appreciated that kindness, and the lovely Osettai at the end of our Pilgrimage. The hotel is run by a father and son, both very friendly. It was clean and roomy, with fresh towels and other amenities supplied daily. Washing facilities are available too. We had a very pleasant two-night stay. 😘😘

The best part was that I finally left after one night, even though I had booked several. I felt so bad during my stay that I checked out without saying anything and moved to a nearby Route Inn. I didn't even mind paying the cancellation fee. If you like putting up with hassles, maybe this place is for you. The room had a TV smaller than 14 inches, Wi-Fi too weak to use, and no nightwear or explanation about it. There wasn't a hairdryer in the room either. When I called, I was told to get one by the counter. The fridge wasn't cooling because it had been unplugged. There was only one paper cup by the sink, and none of the hangers had clips. For a consecutive-night stay, they asked what time I'd leave the next day and I said 11:00. The next morning someone called my room asking when I was leaving because they wanted to go out, and I felt pushed to leave earlier. I wondered if they needed to clean, but when I returned that night the room hadn't been cleaned, and nobody explained why. You leave your shoes at the entrance and put on slippers, which made me think of a guesthouse or ryokan. This is the worst place I've stayed, and I don't think it deserves to be called a hotel. I only gave it one star because the site wouldn't let me post without one.

I've stayed here several times for work, and the Wi-Fi still hasn't improved. It's listed as an amenity, but it just doesn't work. I told the owner, who said he wasn't familiar with the device and couldn't use it. If Wi-Fi hadn't been advertised, that would be one thing, but it was. Apart from that, it's clean, reasonably priced, and doesn't include meals, as other reviews mention. The owner himself isn't unpleasant, lol.
