The owner had a great personality, and the place was just right for a one-night stay. I’m a bit of a germaphobe, so I wasn’t sure about the dust and cups, though my mother came with me, thought it was clean, and used them. I guess it depends on the person ☺️ The futon was super fluffy, and I slept like a log. There’s no TV, but apparently you can watch if you connect your phone to Wi-Fi. I was so tired from the beach that I fell asleep right away, haha. I didn’t try the shower, so I can’t say how it was, but there’s a hot spring nearby. Parking costs 500 yen ☺️🚗 The price was really reasonable, and I’d stay again 😎

Four of us stayed at the end of January for a two-hour sauna session. We arrived late and missed the start, but they kindly extended our time, which we really appreciated. They also gave us a guesthouse room to leave luggage and change in. It had a shower, and they supplied sandals and ponchos for the walk to the rooftop sauna, so we had what we needed. I was confused at first because the way to the sauna is up some stairs by the emergency exit, lol. Once there, the rooftop sauna and cold bath were fantastic. The sauna gets over 100°C, while the cold bath is probably frozen on the surface in the morning and evening. After a loyly in the hot sauna, warming up and then getting into that ice-cold water was an incredible contrast. Not many places offer that kind of temperature difference. The fees are reasonable too, so it’s excellent value. Thanks for a great experience.

I booked through Hotels.com because the listing prominently showed sauna photos. Only when I arrived did I learn that the sauna needed to be reserved in advance and cost an extra 5000 yen on top of the room rate. That wasn’t mentioned anywhere. I think this is false advertising.

I went for the sauna, and the owner was kind and accommodating, making arrangements around the timing and other details. The weather was great, which made for a fantastic session. I’ll definitely visit again.
