We had big, cozy rooms and a nice atmosphere, making this a great place to spend the nights while exploring taisetsuzan national park. The shower and toilet felt a bit spooky in the cold weather, though. There's not much to do nearby, but you can drive a short distance to eat in the nearby towns.

Toshi is a great host, always ready to help and offer advice for traveling or skiing around. The guest house has everything you need, with warm, cozy rooms and comfortable beds. There are bathrooms on the first and second floors, with constant hot water. The kitchen is well equipped, and you can use all the provided tools, including the fridge, heater, and microwave. Highly recommended.

Be prepared: check-in is until 10pm. Arriving late, up to 11pm, costs 1500yen, and no other arrangement can be made. The owner cancelled for free because he couldn't check in later. I'm giving 3 stars because it took some back and forth to reach an agreement, and there was no warning beforehand.

BEST PLACE ON EARTH! Thanks, Toshi, for the two months I spent riding the japow with you. It's a good distance from both the city and the mountains, and the host is really helpful and kind. You can go there without hesitating. Best place to meet new riders and go shred!

Probably one of the best guest houses we've been to in Japan. We loved the atmosphere, and the owner is very kind. Would love to go again!
