We visit Hokkaido in summer and winter as a family of five, and we're so glad we found this gem. It's been renovated really well, and it's comfortable and well equipped. The ground floor is open plan, with a huge open plan bedroom upstairs. The house is well heated, and the bathroom is lovely, with great shower pressure. The location is quiet and peaceful, with no immediate neighbours and beautiful views. We were lucky to have tons of fresh snow. We all loved our stay and will be back. Thank you!

Lovely mountain and nature views. We had a great stay, and my kids loved it. They could play in the snow outside the house, and we built a snowman.

That winter visit was especially handy: there was plenty of room in the entryway to leave our snowboard. I’ve stayed here in both summer and winter, and the place felt clean and comfortable each time. We played with the board games and phone-friendly activities, then relaxed with takeout from a Higashikawa shop. The sunset and stars were lovely too. I’ll be back, thanks! (^^)

At night the stars are beautiful, and the guesthouse sits in a peaceful area with lovely scenery. There’s a kitchen where you can make your own meals, too. It was a comfortable place to stay in Higashikawa, and the owner was very kind.
