HOTEL 555 Air

The sofa had a patch of white liquid on it, though I can't say what it was, and it made me doubt how well the room had been cleaned. The bathroom was the bigger problem. I was in the cheaper room, number 300, so maybe that was why, but I couldn't bring myself to use the tub. I filled it and let it drain to check, and a lot of black residue came out. I couldn't tell if the floor was caked with mud or if the grime just wouldn't come off with a brush. With so many good reviews and a slightly lower price than a certain hotel in Higashine, I had expected more. Maybe it's fine for someone who doesn't use the bathroom, but I won't be back. I'll choose a nearby hotel even if it costs a little more.

We'd even made a card and used the service a few times, but my boyfriend and I won't be coming back. During service hours this year, we were told the room's free rental shampoo and body soap were all gone. We hadn't even brought a car, yet dishes and other things were unavailable too. We hadn't broken any rules, and we usually left the room cleaner than other couples or escort service users, so it felt like customers were being treated badly, beyond just a drop in service. A few years ago the rentals and service were good. There are lots of other places with a better attitude and service, even if they cost more.

Four bath towels meant I had a fresh dry one for my second bath, which was really nice. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and spacious. It was reasonably priced and even came with a sheet mask. I also appreciated the soft toilet paper. I'd stay here again.

The newly opened room I stayed in had a bright white interior and felt very clean. Mine was non-smoking, so it's a good option if cigarette smells bother you. It's close to Yamagata Airport, and I'd stay again next time I'm around Higashine.
