Crefeel Koto

I stayed on my own while accompanying my husband for surgery at Koto Memorial Hospital. The hotel arranged rides between itself and the hospital, which was a huge help. My room was clean with lots of storage, and the bed was in a comfortable spot, so I slept well. This time I stayed without meals, but next time I hope to come with my husband and enjoy food and a bath in the middle of nature. It's a really kind and wonderful hotel, and I'd definitely recommend it to people using Koto Memorial Hospital.

I was a little uneasy at first because of the mysterious traffic safety facility and training center attached to the hotel, but it turned out my worries were unfounded! I'll explain why. I was there on a trip with my parents, and the reception was polite. We were given several key cards, and you couldn't take the elevator upstairs without one, so security felt solid. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room was spacious, with a separate toilet and a clean bathroom. The air conditioning could be adjusted individually, and they provided a Wi-Fi password. There was water and tea on the table. A water dispenser was in the bathroom, and access used a wristband key, which lowered the risk of theft. The food was delicious, and the staff were very polite. I was impressed by how carefully they handled all the little details. It's managed by the Senko Group, a logistics company, and I thought, "Of course!" I'm a business owner too, so I know how hard it is to get staff to follow every small procedure consistently. My parents liked it as well, and it was cheap! If I had to nitpick, there was no BS (satellite TV)! (laughs)

The dinner was incredibly good, and we especially enjoyed the Omi beef. We stayed three nights and four days in a clean log cabin, with a refreshing rural view of mountains all around. The cabin sat beside a large, beautiful green lawn, perhaps used for mini-golf practice. The scenery at magic hour was so beautiful it made us gasp, and the morning view was lovely too. The hot spring was average. Maybe because it was near the end of summer vacation, there weren't many guests, which suited us. Nearby, there's a children's traffic park where our five-year-old enjoyed riding the buses and trains. We got good weather and had a wonderful time sightseeing.

I went there just for a bath. It's a clean place with lots of washing stations, so unless it's very crowded, you probably won't have to wait. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided. There are the usual vending machines, too. There are two indoor baths and one outdoor bath, but no sauna. The three baths seem to be kept at different temperatures. On my visit they were 39, 40, and 41 degrees. I'd have preferred 42 or 43 degrees over 41, so that was a bit disappointing. It's not a hot spring, but it works for anyone wanting to freshen up in a bigger bath than at home, like a nicer version of an old-fashioned public bath. There may have been a food area before, but the only photo posted the day I went showed soft-serve ice cream, so I'm not sure.
