The nighttime view of Osaka from the upper floors was stunning, almost magical. I was there on a company trip and stayed and ate at the hotel, and the food was delicious too. It really is a wonderful place.

Our room was roomy, with tatami covering most of the floor, and there’s on-site parking, which suited us since we drove. The musty odor in the hallways wasn’t pleasant, though, and I noticed a little of it when first entering the room too. After a while, it faded into the background.

The city view was incredible, and getting here from central Osaka was easy. I had a great hot spring day-trip package, with good food and service in a large room that felt a little retro. Thanks, Hotel Seiryu!

For what it costs, I wasn't satisfied. The shower was cold and full of mosquitoes, and the Kintetsu train can be noisy too.
