Toyoko Inn Higashi-osaka

Bright, clean rooms at a good price, and the station connects Kintetsu and JR. The staff are polite and well trained, and English is OK.

Very clean, and only 1minute from Eiwa station, with easy access to Namba.

Breakfast was a buffet with Osaka favorites like takoyaki and beef tendon, along with plenty of combinations of soup, miso soup, rice and curry. I stayed three nights and four days on a business trip, and the meals didn't get boring. The hotel is new and the rooms were very clean. I especially liked having individual air conditioning that I could adjust myself, since I don't like the shared systems in older hotels. There were also streaming services on the TV alongside terrestrial channels, so I could unwind with the YouTube channels I like. The location was very convenient, right in front of Kawachi-Nagata Station and reachable from Shin-Osaka on the Osaka Higashi Line. In the evenings I walked to Fuse Station, just one stop away, for local Osaka food like takoyaki, okonomiyaki and kushikatsu. It made the work trip feel like a visit to Osaka. It seems like a well-balanced option for business or leisure, and I'd like to stay again.

I've stayed at Toyoko Inn so often that it feels like a second home, though this was my first time in Higashiosaka. For people traveling for work, what I love is how consistent “everything is the same.” The room layout and facilities are the same at every Toyoko Inn I've used, which makes packing easy and means I don't have to hunt for things after I arrive. That saves time getting ready in the morning and gives me a sense of security, even somewhere unfamiliar. The front desk, dining and cleaning staff all showed the kind of great hospitality you'd expect to find across the country. In Higashiosaka, the access was excellent, the rooms were new and bright, and the desks were spacious. Keep it up! 😭😭 I'm rooting for you! 🔥
