Hisoca Hotel was a lovely place to stay. The room felt cosy and spacious, with a bathtub and mist sauna, and the staff were very helpful. It’s only a short walk from Ikebukuro Station, with plenty of konbini and all kinds of food nearby. Angie deserves a special thanks for the great service. I’m also grateful to Yami, if I’ve got her name right, for helping find my daughter’s Chiikawa plushie. It went missing after it was accidentally wrapped in the bedsheet and taken away. I really appreciate the care and effort. I’ll definitely come back on my next visit to Tokyo.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Family Mart, 7-11 and the subway are all close, about five minutes away. The rooms have filtered water dispensers, which made drinking water easy. I liked the apartment-like setup: roomy rooms, a microwave, a separate WC and shower, and even a sauna. Tea and coffee are available in the second-floor lounge morning and evening, and the coffee was sooo good. Doughnuts are there at night. There’s no laundry area or gym, though.

The in-room sound system and toaster were such thoughtful touches. We played music while winding down and warmed pastries for breakfast. The only thing I missed was a washer/dryer in the room. Hand-washed clothes dried really quickly overnight, so it wasn't a deal breaker, but I hope they consider adding one to the larger rooms. The location is handy for the airport limousine drop-off, train station, malls and lots of food options, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with everyone having their own space. This was the best hotel of our two-week family trip in Japan, even better than the Disneyland Hotel 🤭. I’d come back to Tokyo just to stay here again, maybe that's an exaggeration, but I mean it. Highly recommend it.

The hotel was great value, and I’d absolutely recommend it. The mint, pink and grey colors are very kawaii, and the place felt family run while still giving five-star service. They’re eco conscious with amenities and cleaning, and you can order a cute breakfast to have in your room. The location worked well for visiting ikebukuro in Tokyo, with the station nearby for getting around to other areas. A big thank you to the lovely lady who helped at check-in and was ready to see us off in two taxis at 5am. She spoke with the drivers since our Japanese is weak and saw us off like family. Thank you!
