Tanimoto at reception was so helpful throughout our three nights. Whenever we asked about something, she’d find the answer if she wasn’t sure, whether it was opening hours, where something was, or where to buy it. The service really stood out. Our non-smoking room was roomy, as was the bathroom, and both looked out over the river. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, including places the staff recommended, and some could speak a little English. The hotel restaurant was closed during our visit, but the coffee drip bags in the room were a nice way to start the day. Lawson is just across the road. We’d recommend staying here.

The staff have always been friendly and helpful when I’ve stayed here, and the hotel feels clean despite being a little dated. I come here often when I’m in Nakamura. Lawson is right across the road, and the dining area is close by. The parking lot is on the small side, though I’ve had no trouble finding a spot. Breakfast is a buffet for 800 yen, with a pretty broad selection for a Japanese-style meal. I’d stay again if I get the chance.

I keep coming back here. The place is a bit old, but the convenience store across the street and the downtown area about five minutes away make it handy. The staff are really nice and helpful, and they provide bottled water. Just keep in mind there’s no coin laundry if you’re staying for several nights.

There aren’t many hotels in the area, and this one has the basics covered. I liked getting a complimentary bottle of mineral water, and there are restaurants close by serving things like seared bonito.
