The staff were kind and apologetic, but that doesn't make these rooms okay. There's so much mold in the bathroom, and the room has extensive cigarette damage. I know these are the cheapest rooms in the area, but even so, they're worth 2500 at most. The dirt was unbelievable.

Cheap, clean, and fair for the price. No toothpaste, though, so I'd give it four stars.

Snow forced us into a last-minute stay here on January 2. The room was 10,000 yen with no meals, which felt steep for a hotel of this standard, and I don't expect to return. The old-fashioned building had our room at the back, where stairs up and down along the hallway made it awkward to get around with a carry-on. There was a Chinese restaurant next door, but I couldn't tell if it was still getting ready to open, so I didn't try it. An older man was at the front desk. Thanks for having us.

The location was convenient, with restaurants close by, but the rest was awful. During our training camp we stayed on the 4th and 5th floors. I heard a cockroach had shown up in a room on the 4th floor. On the 5th, the shower room wall was broken and there was a strong smell. The stairs up to that floor had no lights.

Everything else was average, nothing really stood out. But the bathroom sink had a long hair on it, and I'm a short-haired man. It plainly hadn't been cleaned, so I gave the service one star.
