Hiraizumi Club - Farm & Resort

The lotus flowers outside the property were spectacular. I hadn’t been able to see them blooming at Chuson-ji or Motsu-ji, so I felt lucky to catch them here. We came for two nights with three generations of family, and the warm staff made us feel at ease. The cypress bath, French food, barbecue, breakfast, and bonfire all added to a lovely summer break for the kids. Thank you, we’d definitely come back.

We had a relaxing stay with a great view, and the welcome dessert was delicious. The place was lovely and clean, with nothing I could complain about. We were a big group with four grown kids in their twenties, but the tasty BBQ and breakfast left everyone full and happy. Having two baths and three toilets made things comfortable for all of us. I’d stay again.

Fireflies came into the front yard at night, which got everyone excited and made for a wonderful summer memory. Earlier, the kids had a great time in the natural surroundings catching insects and frogs, while the adults relaxed with drinks on the spacious wooden deck. We were two families of friends, driving from Chiba early in the morning and arriving around 11am in early July. We ordered catering for dinner and breakfast, both delicious, so we could take our time. The stylish dining counter was a hit with the children, who loved playing at serving drinks behind it. The rooms and cypress bath were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very kind. They said they could arrange nearby river activities if we asked in advance. We’d love to visit again.

The dinner was incredibly delicious. Since we’d told them about our food allergies ahead of time, all the dishes suited our tastes, which made us very happy (lol). We stayed one night on March 29, 2023, and splurged on the chef coming to our room to prepare a special dinner. It was our first visit, and we enjoyed having the spacious place to ourselves as a family. The service was pleasant and made us feel comfortable. The 150-year-old traditional Japanese house has been renovated beautifully, and the difference between its exterior and interior should surprise people. I think families with small children and groups of older people could both enjoy the space. We’ll definitely stay again someday.
