A family of four, with kids aged 5 and 7, had plenty of room here, and it felt comfortable for an overnight visit or a longer stay. The place has a simple, homey traditional style. It’s also central, with Peace Park, shops, buses to Hiroshima Station, streetcars, and a Family Mart nearby. I’d happily recommend it.

The guesthouse is spotless, and the owners were really friendly and helpful. It’s a traditional place, with bamboo mats on the floor, and the location is excellent, about a five-minute walk from the museums. There aren’t as many modern conveniences as you’d get in a hotel, and watch out for the rather steep stairs inside.

The best thing about this basic, inexpensive ryokan is how close it is to downtown and the Peace Memorial. The futons were great, and the staff were genuinely lovely. There’s just one shower for the whole place, but I still liked it and would recommend it.

It’s in the traditional Japanese style, with pretty basic facilities. Still, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the central location is wonderful. It’s easy to find and within walking distance of lots of local attractions.

A comfortable, clean place with a basic Japanese style. The owner and family were super friendly, and the location was perfect, near the main sights as well as lots of good cafes and restaurants. Good value for the money.
