Iam Hotel

We stayed eight nights in a roomy space for our family of six, two adults, three teens, and one child. They kindly gave the room a thorough clean on day five, and the reception staff were very helpful. Service was very good. The hotel is close to Nipponbashi train station and to the food and shopping around Shinsaibashisuji. Drinks were available freely from 3 pm to 11 am. I especially liked the corn soup, which was warming on a chilly evening.

The room was surprisingly quiet, and the size was more than adequate by Japanese standards. I didn't pay for breakfast. Location is fantastic, right among everything Dotonbori and Namba have to offer, plus about a minute's walk from Namba Walk underground and the local subway. I was there for two nights in fall 2025, traveling solo in a double room. People who complain about room sizes may not have stayed in other hotels in Japan. I guess it's worth checking the square meters before you book.

The breakfast was so good and generous, especially for the price. The location is fantastic, and the people at IAM went beyond what I expected. Service throughout Japan has been excellent, but this was such a wonderful experience. I'd definitely book here again next time I'm in Osaka.

Our family of five fit comfortably in the spacious family room. It was clean, family-friendly, and right in Dotonbori, just a three-minute walk from the station. The adjustable air conditioning was useful too. The toilet, shower, and vanity were separate from the sleeping area, which made things convenient and gave us more privacy when changing. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back to this place when we return to Osaka.
