There were several really appreciated services, and the value for money was excellent. My room was on the third floor, and since there’s no elevator, I got a discount. I also received one for using public transportation. The rooms are a bit old, but mine was well cleaned and had no issues.

I got an extra discount on the standard rate by using Jalan’s limited-time points for this trip. The place seems old, but it has a homey feel and is well cleaned. I liked the ice in boxes kept in the freezer. It was good quality and didn’t melt as quickly as ice from an ice dispenser. They also rent LAN equipment. The nearest bar is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

The room was thoroughly cleaned, and there was an air purifier, though it was already on for some reason. There were only two working outlets, but the three-prong extension cord helped. One outlet near the bathroom door made it possible to plug in a hair dryer and use it in the bathroom. Hand soap also serves as body soap. The toilet seat was cold and probably couldn’t be heated. It’s a small privately run place, only three floors, so you use the stairs. Payment is cash only, and the reception isn’t anything special. You have to borrow a WiFi router and hair dryer from the front desk, where there’s a clearly visible sign about it. The only real downside for me was the distance, about 1 km from Fukuyama Station. The price was reasonable and the room a little better than I expected.

It’s conveniently located near Fukuyama Station. The building is old, and you have to climb stairs to reach the third floor. The rooms are fairly spacious and comfortable, though I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone sensitive to cigarette smells.
