Contact with the hotel was a real problem throughout our stay. At check-in, we weren’t given the code for the mailbox holding the room key. We’d booked through OneTwoTrip, and the only contact number was Japanese, with no email address provided. A call got nowhere, and the woman who answered didn’t know what was going on, so we eventually had to break the mailbox lock to get the key. The room also wasn’t the one we’d booked. Later, OneTwoTrip forwarded an email from the hotel administration saying we should be in a different room, one floor below. It included the hotel’s email address, so I contacted them directly, but they didn’t reply. Other guests arrived for the room we were in, and we had to sort things out ourselves. The hotel never responded. Then the room’s Wi-Fi stopped working two days before departure, and no one answered our inquiries. The location is good, close to the center, and the rooms are clean with everything you need, aside from a few small issues. Our room had no shampoo, but did have two bottles of hair conditioner.

The bathroom was below standard, and the heating kept waking me up. The whole place was so uncomfortable that it was unacceptable. Luckily, I only had to stay two nights. They should take this place off the market.

The outside looks a little old, but the interior has been completely renovated, so I didn’t mind once I was in. There was clean bedding, and they provide almost all the cooking utensils. It seems well suited to business trips or longer stays.

The apartment is worn and oddly small. Most of all, there’s no bed, just two small fold-out mattresses. A draft keeps coming in through the window because the air conditioner wasn’t installed properly. That’s not much of a problem in summer, but it could be bothersome around November. Otherwise, it has what you need for everyday living, including oil, salt, and tea.
