Hiroshima Intelligent Hotel Main & New Building

This is a cozy place with a great breakfast buffet included in the room. It's very close to the train station, Mazda Zoom Zoom Stadium, Costco and the bus stations. The one catch is that there's no elevator from the first floor, so you have to carry your luggage up to the second.

Everything else was great, but the breakfast wasn't satisfactory, and the bed and pillow were very hard and unyielding. The rooms are a good size and laid out well, and the bathrooms feel really good quality.

It's near the train station, but the noise doesn't bother you. The room is clean and okay for size, though very old with a 70s look.

The hotel is a few minutes from the South exit of Hiroshima station, on the left. The main building looks old but still has some charm. Reception is on the 1st floor, while the lobby, self-service laundry and elevator are on the 2nd. The rooms look newly renovated and have low beds. In mine there was a small closet, microwave, kettle and mini-fridge, which was switched off by default. The bathroom has the modern amenities you'd expect in Japan, including a washlet, toothpaste, mini comb and shower supplies. I couldn't find an outlet in the bathroom, though, so I had to use the hair dryer outside it. The WiFi password is in front of the TV, but the connection on the 8th floor was pretty spotty for me. The hotel is next to the tracks, so you may hear trains, though it wasn't too bad. If you leave the hotel to the right, turn the corner and keep going straight, you'll end up at the Mazada Stadium!
