It's away from downtown Hiroshima, which made it easy to reach by car. The room felt like an apartment and even had a balcony, which was unusual. If you're staying a while, you can hang your laundry out there.

It feels like a privately run guesthouse, and the location is convenient. Be prepared to hear coughs and conversations through the thin walls. The old refrigerator also makes a loud noise every ten minutes or so. I paid for the room in advance by credit card but was still asked to pay on site. I checked because it seemed odd, and it turned out the front desk had misunderstood. It's a pretty important detail to get wrong, and I was annoyed that nobody even apologized for nearly charging me twice.

I stayed here when I drove to see Sanfrecce Hiroshima play at their new stadium. Parking costs 1,000 yen and is first-come, first-served, though you can reserve it in advance. There are nearby restaurants such as McDonald's. For a car trip, the location works well, with the city center about ten minutes away. The room was around 6,000 yen, which seems reasonable if all you need is a place to sleep. Thank you.

The room is old and the walls are thin, so sounds from next door, including voices and the TV, carry through. Still, the receptionist was friendly, the linens were very clean, and the bathroom and toilet were well cleaned. For the price, it wasn't bad. Convenience stores, Komeda's Coffee, and okonomiyaki restaurants are all within walking distance, so you can enjoy Hiroshima without heading into the city center. I'd stay again for business or with family if I get the chance. A good value for money.
