Hiroshima Town Hotel

The staff were all gentle and friendly. For longer stays, you leave used towels and pajamas in a bag in the hallway, along with the trash can. When you get back, the trash has been collected and a bag with fresh towels, pajamas, a bath mat, and a toothbrush is hanging on your doorknob. Laundry is available around the clock. Use the net they give you at check-in and leave it at the front desk. Evening drop-offs are ready the next morning, washed, dried, and folded. I wouldn’t leave anything in there that I didn’t want someone else to see. Check-in starts at 4 PM, and they give you a bag with basics such as pajamas and towels, plus a laundry net. The rooms have a fridge and hair dryer but no electric kettle, though you can borrow one from the desk. The bath and toilet are separate, but the sink is inside the bathroom, so your feet get wet if you use it after bathing. The hotel is next to a 7-Eleven, which is handy. It’s also in a corner of the entertainment district, so be careful walking alone at night.

The hotel was inexpensive and the service was good. There are lots of adult entertainment places nearby, so take care if you’re out walking at night. That was my only concern.

I stayed two nights in a row, and the male front desk staff gave fantastic service. He was so kind that he even told me which fabric softener they used. It was a little disappointing that there was only separate conditioner, but shampoo and conditioner are available for 100 yen at Don Quijote, so it wasn’t a big deal. I liked the front desk service so much that I’d love to stay here again.

I was only here to sleep, so the low price worked well for me.
