Hiroshima City Bunka Koryu Kaikan

I accidentally booked a smoking room, so the cigarette smell was a problem for me. The hotel provided an air purifier, and running it along with the AC helped me manage, though it wasn’t ideal. The room itself was spacious for the price and had a nice view. Make sure you choose the right room if you don’t like smoke. The location worked well, right by a bus stop serving many places around Hiroshima. The peace museum, the dome, and a ferry to and from Miyajima are all within walking distance. The hotel is inside a large building that seems to host big events and conferences, with the entrance on the right as you come in. Staff don’t speak much English, but a translator app should do the job. For what we paid, it felt almost too good to be true: clean rooms and very friendly staff. I’d stay again in a non-smoking room and recommend it to budget travelers visiting Hiroshima.

The room was really spacious and the staff very friendly. I stayed one night at this lovely hotel, which is in a great location. Breakfast wasn’t the best, but there’s a bakery and a Lawson nearby if it doesn’t suit you.

Memorial Peace Park and Atomic Bombing Dome are within walking distance, though downtown is a bit farther away. There’s a Lawson about 150 meters away for a nighttime snack.

For Japan, the price was reasonable, and the hotel had everything I needed for a one-night stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was okay, and the staff were friendly. There was air conditioning too. The location is right beside the Hiroshima A-Bomb memorials, and only a short bus ride from Hiroshima Station.
