A decent budget choice if you're trying to save money, and only a short walk from the train station. The room was clean, though dated, and the staff were friendly. We could only get one key for the room. Some people in our group said they could smell cigarette smoke in their rooms. The photo shows the view from our room.

The hot water machine was a big help, and this was the best hotel I stayed at in Japan. Excellent place, definitely worth going to. It would be helpful if they had a weighing scale for foreign visitors to weigh their baggage.

The room was okay overall, but I couldn't sleep with the air conditioner making so much noise at night. There was also an unpleasant smell in the toilet. The water server made a noise each time it heated water, about every 30 minutes, so I had to switch it off to get any sleep.

The location is okay, but I kept having to reorganize my things in the toilet area. I cleared the bench and moved the hotel's toiletries aside to make room for my own stuff, but the staff put everything back each day and cleared away my things. I had to set it up again every time. The other problem was the air conditioning: I could only change the fan speed, not the room temperature, and I was woken up because it got too hot.

Breakfast came with our stay, and the rooms were clean. The hotel is quite close to the station, which was handy. I held back a star because the entertainment stand had some minor damage covered with tape.
