OUCHI HOTEL Itsukaichi

It was clean and just as we expected. A great place, easy to use, with nice clear instructions.

I chose this place because there weren't any hotels near Itsukaichi Station. It's a little hard to find, though there are popular ramen restaurants and bakeries nearby. Honoyu, a hot spring facility, is about a 15-minute walk away. It seemed the whole apartment building was being used as private lodging. Check-in was easy and smooth. My room was on the second floor. There were stairs, but I managed them fine with my suitcase. The room had a terrible old smell 😭. I stopped noticing it much after a while. The bed was so soft my hips sank into it, and I didn't sleep very well. The room seemed a bit old, but it had been renovated and cleaned, and was usable without any problems. It was reasonably priced, and the place wasn't bad overall. There was a kitchen, so it seems well suited to longer stays and people who like to cook. Along with the Japanese-style room, there was a Western-style room with a bed. All the rooms were bright and sunny. I didn't use the bath, so I can't say what it was like. But the smell and bed didn't suit me, so I don't think I'll stay again. Thanks very much for your help!

The space was a real plus, and I found the place convenient in several ways. I was here for work this time, but I’d happily bring my family on another visit.

There are lots of rooms, and they’re spacious. I really liked staying here, though if you’re not comfortable cooking or you’re particular about the feel of a room, it might not suit you.
