Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima Station

Even though we had a non-smoking room, it stayed damp because there was no window to open and the ventilation was poor. Changing the AC settings didn’t help. The bed was uncomfortable too. It seemed like either the base was broken or the mattress was so old it had sagged on one side.

It was handy to have the station just a few minutes away on foot, especially with luggage. The higher-floor view was pleasant, with city lights, patches of green, and some quiet now and then. I’d stay at Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima-Ekimae again if I were passing through Hiroshima. The rooms were clean and modern, though not especially big if you’ve brought a lot of bags. The bed was really comfortable, king or queen style, and the bathroom layout worked well, with a large glass-walled shower and a separate toilet for privacy. Staff were helpful and polite, Wi-Fi was good, and breakfast had Japanese and Western choices.

This was my best stay at a Daiwa Roynet hotel. The front desk staff were helpful and attentive to details. The hotel was clean, very modern, and conveniently close to Hiroshima main station (Shinkansen/JR West). It’s part of a Japanese hotel chain and made for a comfortable stay. The train, bus, and streetcar stations were a lovely five-minute walk away, and there are lifts near the bridge for elderly travelers.

The breakfast was amazing, especially the French toast. I remember praising it and giving the cooks a big thank you. The desk staff on the 13th floor were really friendly, and the stay was super comfortable.
