The Sakai Suite

Finding the apartment took some effort because it’s a bit hidden, and we had to ask a nearby store for directions. It’s also above a restaurant, and now and then food smells came into part of the living room through the air conditioning. Keep in mind it’s on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which could be tough with heavy bags. The TV only had Japanese channels and wasn’t a smart TV, so we didn’t use it. Those were the drawbacks. The rest of our stay was fantastic: the apartment was spotless, recently renovated, and spacious enough for our group of 6. The traditional Japanese-style rooms made for a unique, enjoyable stay. Beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen had all the essentials and more, and there were lots of good quality towels. The location was ideal, just a 3-minute walk from the tram and close to a bakery, convenience store, and key Hiroshima landmarks. Highly recommended!
