It’s a special place to enjoy good food, nature, and the sound of waves. The original dishes use ingredients from ibaraki pre, and the food is tasty. The location is outside the metropolis, so you’ll need to bring or buy the different things you need during your stay. It gets very dark at night, there’s no transport except by car, and most shops and restaurants close around 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. Credit cards aren’t accepted. You can relax here listening to the waves rushing ashore.

The staff’s thoughtfulness came through in all the little details, and we’d love to stay again. We spent one night here to relax by the ocean, at a quiet spot behind the Seamark Square shopping mall in northern Hitachi City. We could see the Pacific Ocean from our room. That night we unwound to the sound of the waves, and there’s a sandy beach right in front of the inn for a stroll or a bit of relaxing. The weather was cloudy during our stay, so we missed the beautiful sunrise you can see on a clear morning. We had a course meal featuring vegetables and fish from Ibaraki Prefecture. The menu changes with the seasons, and the mackerel sushi and deep-fried monkfish were especially delicious. Our child enjoyed the meal we ordered for them, a plate with hamburger steak, fried shrimp, and gratin that looked delicious. The bath wasn’t a hot spring, we were told, but heated spring water. It was still very pleasant.
