The rooms are practical and clean, though really small. Breakfast runs from 06:30 to 09:00, which feels too early to get up for. There’s also just one small-capacity elevator, as other guests have mentioned, and it can be a hassle, especially from the lower floors.

For 50 dollars a night, the price was very low for a 3 star hotel. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Katsuta station, and the rooms are clean with good WiFi. The room size is the main drawback, and some colleagues found the pillows hard. Breakfast is just so-so, but enough to fill you up. I can recommend it.

The room turned out bigger than I expected, and it was cheap and very clean. The staff were kind, though their English was limited, so knowing basic Japanese would make things easier, in my opinion. The downside was noise: my neighbor on the same floor was pretty loud, and footsteps and doors in the hallway came through clearly.

The reception service could have been more polite by Japanese hotel standards. They do mention that there aren't enough parking spaces, but I think they could still let guests reserve a spot or work with nearby parking lots.
