Water Front Villa OASIS-OARAI

The food was excellent, even though you have to grill it yourself. Breakfast was a freshly grilled burger. It felt like the best of glamour and camping: each group gets a huge sleeping tent, plus its own tent with a bath and toilet, and another with a fancy grill that includes a teppanyaki plate. Everything is put together with an eye for beauty and quality, right down to the American-brand charcoal.

We picked the surprise cake plan, and the staff helped with every little detail and took photos for us at the end. They were so kind and the service made the stay feel really special. Dinner was self-grill, so we could cook things just the way we liked them. We also enjoyed the beautiful lights at night, plus the pool and spa. We came on a Sunday at the end of March, outside peak season and before Monday, so it felt like we had the place almost to ourselves. I’ve heard the resort offers other ways to enjoy it during peak season, and I’d like to come back in summer.

We brought our own food for an evening BBQ, and they even made rice for us in an earthenware pot. It was delicious. The sauna and pool made it a fantastic day, and we’d love to stay again. The facilities were well looked after, the room was comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind.
