That small room got pretty cramped with three of us and all our luggage. The bed takes up nearly all the space, and the bathroom is tiny, so I wouldn't want to spend much time in there. For one person, though, the size would be fine. Hofu station is right across the street, but it's small and the area stays quiet. There’s an AEON center behind it that made food and shopping easy. We also found the breakfast amazing, and the eating area was clean. I noticed the hot spring bath downstairs, though I didn’t try it. We stayed four nights and enjoyed it. I’d come back.

The onsen setup was the one awkward part. There's just one, alternating between men and women, and the hours weren't very convenient, but it was okay. The room was spotless, and I could choose from different pillows. The bed was really comfortable. Staff were friendly too. They spoke only a little English, but it was enough to understand each other. It's right in front of the station, with AEON and a food court close by. I'd stay again if I'm back in the area.
