The freshly baked breakfast bread was a highlight, especially the red bean bread with its gentle sweetness. I only stayed for breakfast, and otherwise found the place pretty average. There were several guest rooms upstairs but just one private room in the men's restroom, which felt a little odd. The route to the pension was dark and gravelly, with very few signs, so I was somewhat uneasy on the way there, though it turned out fine.

Amour's bread had more chew and a stronger taste of the ingredients, so I liked it better than the bread I tried in Germany in June. I'd also be glad to see a wider selection of smoked foods, like ham.

It's a quiet, clean guesthouse, pretty ordinary otherwise. In the mornings, the owner seems to play the same odd song they made up themselves over and over. I've memorized it by now...

Dinner and breakfast were both tasty. The vegetables and homemade bread stood out, and the aquapazza was especially good.
