The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are kept up well, and it's a comfortable place to stay. In winter, there's a wood-burning stove in the first-floor shared lounge. I come back regularly, and the location works well for visiting Yatsugatake, Kiyosato, and Hokuto City. The owner has been offering rides to nearby restaurants, which makes going out for a drink handy. That ride service was still available in 2023, though the owner is elderly, so take a taxi if you're uneasy about his driving. It may not continue indefinitely. There's no fridge in the rooms, but a shared fridge and freezer in the hallway are fine for keeping a few things you brought along. If you found this useful, please like the post. It encourages me to write more. Have a nice trip!
