The rooms are short on space, with nowhere to put luggage, though they do come with nice extras like free bottles of water. The hotel also serves lunch and dinner for ¥1000, but I didn't try either. Staff were pleasant, but communication issues meant they weren't especially helpful. For the price, it's reasonable for a short stay. After a day out sightseeing, the onsen and sauna are appealing. They're shared by men and women at different times, so availability is limited. Women, for example, can use them only from 5-10 pm. The hotel is too far from Osaka station to walk, and the shuttle runs fairly often, but stops after 6:30. Outside those hours, you'll need to make your own way back. The hotel gives clear directions to the shuttle stop. One heads-up: there's a staircase with no escalator or elevator on the route, which is unusual at Japanese stations. Large bags can be awkward there, and the shuttle's luggage space is tight enough that the driver had to put bags on the seats.

Staff took our luggage up to the room, which was really convenient. We stayed one night, with check-in at 4pm and check-out at 11am. The only real issue was the tiny bathroom. I'm 1.90m and could barely fit inside. The room itself felt a bit cramped with four or more bags.

The room was cozy, but very tight: there was hardly any room for large suitcases, and the shower area only had enough space to turn around. Our bigger problem was the booking. We reserved two rooms for four people through Booking.com, and the reservation showed payment for four guests, even though the breakdown listed one person per room. We had made other bookings through Booking.com with the same kind of breakdown and payment for four, without any trouble at those hotels. At S.Training Central hotel, the reception insisted we pay an extra 11200 yen for an extra person. That unpleasant stay really spoiled our holiday.

A practical checkout detail: you can leave your room key in the collection box on the first floor of either the accommodation building or the training building. The large bath is on the first floor of the accommodation building, and men's and women's hours differ. Women can use it from 5.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.; men from 10.30 p.m. to 1.30 a.m. and 5.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. Women need to get a white security card at check-in to enter. We stayed two nights and enjoyed both the stay and breakfast. Just note that the breakfast hall was in the training building, where we checked in and out, rather than in our accommodation building. Staff brought breakfast to the table, while drinks and extra rice and soup were self-serve.

The front desk staff were nice, but that's the one good thing I can say. Our tiny room wasn't properly cleaned, and the sheets weren't changed at all. They were just thrown back over the beds, if that. Even with a low price, the long walk and below-average rooms don't make it worthwhile.
