I was there by myself on September 20th, and the morning brought a nice surprise: the owner kindly let me join a harvesting experience. I also had a lovely time chatting with the owner and other guests. The stay flew by.

The facilities are definitely old, though the toilets seemed incredibly new! The owners were friendly and chatty, which I think is one of the best things about staying at a guesthouse. They recommended a roadside station where I bought some delicious corn. I ate it right away, and it was so good.

The dining hall stays open at night outside meal times, which makes it a great place to meet people. And the night sky is incredible, even in summer you can see so many stars. I saw shooting stars and the Milky Way recently. At around 1100m elevation, it often gets chilly after dark in summer. I’m sure in winter you could barely see a planetarium through the stars. I had a wonderful time. Thank you, Master, I’ll come back!

The owner’s personality, the food and the view were all amazing.
