Elias Garden

I was looking forward to swimming in the pool with my dog, but this time there was a small pool just for dogs, so we couldn't swim together. That was a real disappointment. It was my second stay here with my family and dog.

The pool water was dirty and there were lots of insects, which was a bit of a downside. Still, my dog is usually nervous when we travel, and it was nice to see him unusually relaxed here. The inside and garden were very clean, and we had a relaxing stay at Alan. Towels, toothbrushes and shampoo were provided, along with sandals by the entrance, a pet lint roller, toilet sheets and pet dishes. The kitchen seemed to have a full set of dishes and utensils, but no towels or dishcloths, so bring your own. There's a roof over the BBQ area, so you can barbecue in light rain. The staff were kind, and I was very satisfied. There are plenty of dog-friendly cafes and restaurants nearby, and I'd definitely like to come again. I couldn't find many room photos beforehand, so I took lots of pictures.

Our cautious, large dog warmed up to the owners quickly, and they were so considerate of our children's birthdays. They even looked after the kids while we went to the beach. The owners were both lovely, a quiet gentleman and a beautiful, cheerful, friendly woman, the kind of people you'd want to work with. The room was clean, and we had a great time. The newly opened Alan room has a spacious garden where we enjoyed a barbecue, and we'll definitely stay here again when we visit Kujukuri. Bring a toothbrush, bath and face towels, kitchen or dish towels if you'll use the kitchen, a brush if you need one, pajamas, and pet supplies. They provide extra pet sheets, deodorizing spray and water bottles, but you'll need to refill them if you run out. A barbecue is available, or you can borrow extra equipment for a fee. Email or call if you want to use that service.

The rooms are very clean, and they do a thorough job disinfecting with alcohol. This guesthouse welcomes dogs and has a dog run. The rooms are set up like Hawaiian condominiums, with a fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen utensils and dishes. They also provide water for dogs and pet sheets, which is great when traveling with pets. There's a BBQ area on the balcony, so you can cook in the garden space by bringing your own food, seasonings, charcoal and paper plates.
