Business Hotel Century

The front desk staff were friendly, and their clear explanations of check-in and local information helped ease the fatigue of my business trip. Hotel Century is near Shin-Iizuka Station, so getting around with lots of luggage was easy. I stayed in a smoking room. It was simple, but had all the amenities I needed and caused no inconvenience. Nothing flashy, just a business hotel I felt comfortable using.

The Japanese-style breakfast had plenty of variety, and I left feeling full. I also liked being able to walk from the station without crossing any traffic lights. I stayed the night before, and the receptionist was very kind. They even contacted a transportation company to find out how I could get to my destination. I was worried about traveling alone, so that was a real comfort. I’d stay here again.

An ordinary, older hotel, but cheaper than the surrounding places and close to the station. It has the basics, including Wi-Fi.

The rooms and service were good, so it’s a decent choice if you don’t have a car. There’s no parking facility, though. Since the hotel is near the bar district, the coin lot right next door is often full from evening until around 1 AM. Finding an open spot means going quite a bit farther away, which is a drawback.
