Island Terrace Neela

The owner's care showed in all the little details around the room, and we were really comfortable. From the garden, we could take in the lovely ocean views with a nice breeze, and there was direct access to the sea from our room. After a swim in the pool, warming up in the room's jacuzzi felt great. Breakfast was delicious, and I loved the mocha coffee afterward too. Next time I'd like to bring my mother (^^).

The Sunset Suite felt wonderfully private, set apart from the other buildings at Nee-la. There are five buildings in all, four arranged as row houses; you can see part of the garden from the shared pool out front. From the terrace, though, the beautiful ocean of Miyako Island feels like it's all yours. The outdoor space has white walls around a private pool and jacuzzi. Inside, there's a small kitchen, a washer-dryer, and a storage room with inflatable rings. Snorkeling sets are available to borrow for free for the nearby private beach. The room and outdoor areas were spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Amenities were a little sparse, but it's definitely worth a stay. One thing to keep in mind: the terrace railing is low, so I'd avoid it for families with young children who can walk on their own.

We were so pleased with the BBQ dinner and breakfast that we've already booked another visit. The Sunset Suite was in a fantastic location, and the room was clean and well cared for. Staff service was superb too. It was a wonderful, memorable stay.

The terrace barbecue last night was so good, and breakfast left us just as satisfied. I loved having a jacuzzi alongside the bathroom in each cottage, and the daybeds were comfy for a nap. I had a wonderful time here. Of all the hotels I've stayed at, this one was the best.
