The Japanese breakfast was great, and the Onsen is really nice, but I was disappointed by this Hotel. The staff weren't very friendly, and the service overall wasn't good. The rooms are old, not modern at all, and not clean enough. For the price, especially at a high-class hotel this expensive, I expected much more. I wouldn't recommend booking it.

It's a big inn with a nice onsen (spa), and the food is great. The internet works well, and the rooms are soundproof, so you don't hear sounds through the walls like at other traditional Japanese inns. The bed is a bit hard and I didn't sleep easily on it. Liquor is a little expensive, as you'd expect.
